This project was both exciting and challenging for us. We were given a brief from the customer to change what was an ordinary and somewhat dated public house in to something completely different for its surroundings. The image was to be more of a gastro pub yet with a rustic feel to it due to its rural location. Although no structural changes were undertaken, the pub has had a complete face lift including new furniture, redesign of both bar areas with stone features and complete redecoration with some exciting wallpapers. Upon entering now, it is a warm, welcoming hue of neutral colours that greets you. The finishes we used were a wonderful mix of new and old. It was an exciting project to have been involved in from start to finish to see something turn from an ugly duckling into a beautiful Swan.
